Ludovic Bigot
Chef De Projet Gustave Roussy
Ludovic Bigot obtained a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from Paris Diderot University and chose to focus on preclinical research. He developed his expertise across several institutions, including Saint Antoine Hospital (Paris), the Institute of Cancer Research (London), and Gustave Roussy (Villejuif). Since 2014, he has been working as a project manager at Gustave Roussy, where he is responsible for the development of innovative preclinical models. He plays a key role in two major translational research programs: MATCH-R and UNLOCK, which aim to better understand mechanisms of resistance, mechanism of action of innovative drugs and identify new therapeutic strategies in oncology.
Seminars
- Spotlighting the development and application of organoids and PDX models to study adaptive responses to targeted therapies and immunotherapies in prostate cancer
- Demonstrating the translational relevance of patient-derived cell lines, CDX, PDX, PDOs and PDXOs and discussing their pros and cons
- Using clinical data from Phase I and II trials to better understand mechanism of resistance and pathology to develop better therapeutic strategies with a focus on enhancing clinical relevance and predictability power of the models
